1. Acceptance of Terms & Conditions

By using (“Reckoner – The Multi Interest Calculator & Converter”), you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Terms & Conditions (also known as Terms of Service or Terms of Use). While the Privacy Policy is a separate document, it works in conjunction with these Terms to govern your relationship with our software.

2. Understanding the Service Model

To provide clarity and set accurate user expectations, the Reckoner service model is defined as follows:

• Core Features: Reckoner provides a suite of financial calculators and converters designed to assist with interest, loan, EMI, and other finance-related computations.

• Ad-Supported Nature: Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the free version of Reckoner may contain advertisements to support ongoing development and maintenance.

• Ad-Free Option: Users who desire an uninterrupted experience may choose to purchase an “Ad-Removal” upgrade. This is a separate transaction independent of the core feature set.

3. User Accounts, Purchases, and Transaction Records

• Store Account Requirement: To make purchases within the app, you may be required to use a Google Account (via Google Play Store) or Microsoft Account (via Microsoft Store). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities performed under that account.

• Record Keeping: All purchase records are linked to your respective store account and are maintained exclusively by Google Play or Microsoft Store. We do not store or manage your financial transaction history on our own servers.

• Pricing and Price Protection: We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time.

  • One-Time Purchases: If you have made a “One-Time Purchase,” future price modifications will not affect you, and you will not be required to repurchase the feature.

  • Subscriptions: This price protection does not apply to subscription models, which are subject to recurring billing adjustments as per current rates.

• Right to Cancel: We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to cancel or revoke any purchase made by a user at any time in the future without prior notice.

• Authorized Sales Channels: Purchases are valid only when made through the official Google Play Store, Microsoft Store, or our official website. We do not recognize or support purchases made through third-party “mod” sites or unauthorized mirrors.

4. Feature Availability and UI Changes

The features available in the current version of Reckoner may not be guaranteed in future releases. Certain functionalities may be modified, restricted, or removed due to factors beyond the developer’s control, including but not limited to respective OS policy changes, Windows compatibility requirements, API restrictions, and platform guidelines. Additionally, the user interface (UI) and application components may be updated or redesigned from time to time to align with modern development practices and improve usability.

5. Prohibited Use and Intellectual Property

• No Reverse Engineering: You may not decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of Reckoner. Unauthorized modification or distribution of the app’s binary is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

• Ownership: All intellectual property, including logos, UI design, and proprietary code, remains the exclusive property of the developer and publisher.

• Financial Neutrality: Reckoner is a neutral tool for performing calculations. Users are strictly prohibited from misrepresenting results or using the app as a substitute for licensed financial advice.

6. Third-Party Libraries and Licenses

The app utilizes third-party technologies (including but not limited to Google Firebase, AdMob, and AppLovin MAX). By using this app, you also agree to the terms provided by the respective OS Store policies, and the respective terms of service of our third-party partners.

7. Limitation of Liability

Reckoner is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”

• No Warranty: The developer and publisher (Kovvuri Gopala Krishna Reddy & Q Infro) make no guarantees regarding the accuracy of calculations, financial outcomes, or the absence of bugs.

• User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for any financial decisions made based on the app’s outputs. The app is intended as a calculation aid, not as professional financial advice.

• Device & App Updates: Users are responsible for keeping their devices secure with the latest operating system patches and for updating the Reckoner app whenever a new version is released. Failure to do so may expose vulnerabilities or limit functionality.

• Legal Liability: The developer is not liable for any misuse of the app in violation of local laws or financial regulations.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the application immediately, without prior notice, for any reason—including, but not limited to, a breach of these Terms or suspected malpractice.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

• Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

• Disputes: Any disputes arising from these terms shall first be addressed through amicable negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be settled via binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of the local jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.
